La settimana scorsa io e il mio Amore siamo rimasti bloccati in Italia a causa della oramai famosa eruzione del vulcano islandese…ahimè, viaggio a Londra annullato, e quindi per consolarci nel pomeriggio siamo andati nella città che preferisco da sempre, Venezia.
Giusto il tempo di un gelato e di una visitina all’esposizione della Pinault Foundation a Punta della Dogana, un po’ troppo moderna per i miei gusti, anche se la location è di grande effetto…
Per l’occasione ho optato per un outfit total black piuttosto semplice, giacca di pelle, skinny neri e cintura vintage, il quale rispecchiava il mio umore post vulcano! Da un po’ di tempo a questa parte, il rosa è il colore che preferisco, sarà colpa della primavera o chissà!!!
Vista la delusione “vulcaniana” della mattina, mi sono consolata indossando per la prima volta la meravigliosa collana di perle regalo di laurea degli zii: beh, non riesco più a farne a meno!!! Trovo che impreziosisca in maniera meravigliosa ogni outfit, anche i più basic e casual.

Last week my Love and I got stucked in Italia due to the volcanic eruption in Island…our trip to London was cancelled, therefore we decided to spend the afternoon in the city I love the most, Venezia.
We had little time, just for an ice cream and a quick visit to the Pinault Foundation in Punta della Dogana: in my opinion, the exposition was a little too modern, although the location was absolutely breathtaking…
I decided to wear a quite simple total black outfit, with leather jacket, black skinny and vintage belt, which mirrored my post-volcano mood! In the last weeks I’ve been loving pink so much and I wear it daily, it’s probably due to Spring or…who knows!!!
After the “volcanic disappointment” of the morning, as consolation I wore for the first time the marvellous pearls’ necklace that my uncles and aunts gifted me for my graduation: well, I must admit I can’t go out without it!!! I think it makes every outfit really precious, even the most basic and casual.
