Breezes Thoughts

First view of the morning is delightful for me.
where shall I roam this day to see. I have a craving for sweets you see. ah Iknow exactly where to go. Follow me if you please.

Is this anyway to camp??
even the bartender is ignoring me. Mercy sakes Bree you are losing it.
I know, but whats a girl to do?
I asked for a drink , he said get it yourself little lady. I raised my glims at him and the look went squinty. finally Igot my drinks.
Just goes to show. Persistance is what it takes.

Now here is my craving satisfied? No not quite. haha but It is close.
Munching on Jellybeans standing amongst the hedgehogs that like to bite my Saadi. and the peacock squawking at him as he frowns mightily. Me in latex and a western hat and gun waiting to venture to a mixup contest. This is the way I go tonight.
Variety of stuff I can get into?

Playing Una at Woodlin

I didn’t expect to write another story about my Woodlin buddies so soon again. But what happened this weekend, I felt it just *had* to be told.

Many Second Life residents know about the board games here, such as SLopoly, a Monopoly spinoff poking fun at SL. Well, one of my neighbors got Una, a SL version of Uno, a card game in real-life. He thought it would be a great way to get everyone together, notably Dax Loon who's been working like crazy on her next big build.

I had never played Uno in real life, but the rules seemed simple enough. The object of the game is to play all your cards, ending up with none. A card can be played only if it’s the same color or number or a wild card. Besides the wild, there are special cards which call for the next player to be skipped over, the direction of play suddenly reversed, the next player to draw two extra cards, etc. Gameplay needed the players to sit at the table and get an HUD from clicking the stool.

But one thing the designers didn’t count on was what happens when close to a dozen easily amused guys and girls sit down to play.

It didn’t take much to get some of us chuckling, and when one did, we all joined in, either in voice, which most used, or chat. And with our emotes, funny noises and audio lines from film clips, the hilarity just fed on itself. If a player ran into a setback, it was enough to use a long “NOOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOooooooooo....” emote. Then there was when a player would be hit with a “draw four card,” “Oh my Gawd. You pawned me! (laughter) I’m going to get you for that. (more laughter),” pretending to be mad at the dealer. And when one of the skunkfolk made that remark, I jokingly asked if I should get clothespins and tomato juice, which got more chuckles. Emotes of sound clips of funny web films and movies, emotes of funny sound effects. It continued on and on, and some people supposedly were laughing so hard, they were crying in real-life. Then there was the game’s ending animation, when the cards would explode outward, then all converge on the winner just in front of the chest. When it was a girl, there were jokes about the deck ending up in the cleavage.

Some told they hadn’t laughed that hard in a long time.

We’re going to have to do it again soon.

Breezes Thoughts

I was geting quite bored one day, get the heck out of this rut. Ok, say I go for it. I first went and bought a new dance.
I travelled the steps of almost every dance. Mercy, I was getting exhausted, but I met the most interesting avatars from complete idiots to scholars of the world, I assume they are scholars, as I understood little of what they were saying.
Me thinks the scholars were nipping the brews. So I got my dance, and decided to try out a club.
Boy did I get into a doozy of a fun time, goth and or hell. SO I hid (lol)as if you can hide to change your clothes. I got a few of the funniest hoots and woots and gogogo Breezes. Laughing the whole time I ended up as a goth, red devil eyes, and greatest set of horns I ever saw. I set off to dance and prance around and to my amazement started getting the greatest set of IMs and amazing compliments. I even played the sploder and won 3x the best night I ever had .
Let go and have some fun, because fun was what I got.
You do not have to go and be practically bare to have your fun, but do it if you like. Chatter away and and dance yourself into the best time. Yep, I set upon the dance sign, I sat upon the sploder. Gave it a rub down.
I fly through the air with the greatest of ease and land in the darndest places, get lots of comments when landing in a fountain of warm blood, it is sticky, gooey. the owners asked me if I wanted a job, lol, I love being asked that. No, no job for Bree toooo involved, time wise, but if you want to get yourself some new friends venture out and talk to all, listen to what fun they are having.
I never really realized what a job these big club hostess have to do, there is a lot of work involved and they surely earn their tips. Even to the newer SL members I say go out and explore learn to use search for what kind of dance, clothes, cars, boats you think of it and Search will find it for you.
Have fun everyone.
