Christmas Gift Guide: Beauty!!!!

Buon lunedì a tutti!!

Let's start off the week with a new Christmas Gift Guide!! Christmas is the perfect moment to gift (and receive) a new perfume, the lipstick we’ve been dreaming for a long time or a well deserved beauty treatment!!! Here’s a couple ideas to make mum, sister, mother-in-law, sister-in-law and girlfriends truly happy using a quite small budget. Have a nice Monday everyone!!

Photobucket

1. Thierry Mugler “Alien” – 50€

2. Kiko Eyebrow designer – 7,20€

3. Chanel Rouge Allure “Emotive n° 68” – 27€

4. Chanel Poudre Universelle – 30€

5. Kiko Eyeshadow – 5€

6. Chanel Le Vernis “Tendresse n° 507” – 20€

7. Dior “Miss Dior Cherie” – 50€

8. Wahl Cutek Titanium hair straightener – 55€

9. Gucci “Guilty“ – 55€

10. Clinique 3 step (mini kit) – circa 60€

I suggest you the Clinique cosmetics, they’re truly fantastic and efficacy, the Wahl Cutek hair straightener with titanium plates (I’ve been using it daily since more than a year and I can say it makes your hair straight and soft without ruining them too much)…and “Miss Dior Cherie”, that’s obvious!!

Newbie Tip #1 : Hair

We have all done it. Lived the first few days or weeks with the Newbie hairdos. Not very flattering, but very easy to fix. Once you have gotten some Lindens you will be able to buy yourself a new do.

After having looked in the Search for Hair and arriving at your shop of choice, always buy a demo. Most demos cost only $1 Linden, some are even free. The last thing you want is to waste your Lindens on hair that just does not suite you (trust me I have made that mistake too)

Buying a Demo: When you find a style you think might look good on you, simply click on the image marked Demo. A pie graph should appear with the word Buy or Pay. Click on the Buy/Pay section.

Step 1: You need to go to Appearance and click on Hair then Style. Make yourself BALD by playing with the volume and length of your style.
Step 2:You open your Inventory, go to the tab Recent Items and find the Demo you just bought.
Step 3: Click on it. A drop down menu should appear. You click on WEAR. You should be wearing your Demo Hair. You will know this by the large box floating above you with the store logo.
This will give you some time to run around In-World for a few hours or so letting you decide if it is right for you. When you have made up your mind you can return to the store and buy the colour and style you like.

To change your style: If you have bought a few choices, to change your look you simply go into your inventory, scroll down to the name of the hair you want to wear (the style in this photo is Sirena Spirit) click on it and choose WEAR in the drop down menu. Wait a few seconds and your new style will replace the old one.

SL beauty enters this years calender girls

Our good friend and owner of RBE club and mall Pinky Parks is this year entering the contest for 12Avatar.com.
Last year we reported on the Miss Inspire contest which Pinky won, a huge acheivement for anyone.
Since then She has entered quite a few contest but has had a less than perfect reception due to the fact that she is gay.
It had been suggested she used an ALT for the contests that she entered but Pinky is determined to inspire other gays to stand by who they are;
"It took pinky long time to get where she is now, it hurts sometimes but, I want to show being a lesbian has nothing to do who I am or what I do. I want to take Pinky as far as I can being a lesbian, I don't hide it".
At Miss Inspire last year Pinky went on to say they were wonderful to her and she has had a lot of feedback on the inspiration she gave others. She hopes this year to reach a wider audience with the Calender girls contest.
We wish you the best of luck pinky. Voting ends sunday, if you would like to vote for her Pinky can be found on stand 6 picture C. I added my vote today!
