Here I’m back from my two weeks long vacations!!!!!!!
I’m still trying to figure out what happened during my absence: first, thanks to all of you who kept visiting my blog despite my absence, I have many news to share with you and a precious idea I’ll hopefully post tomorrow!!!!

I must admit that my Bloglovin’ page truly scares me due to the huge amount of unread posts I have to check out!!!! So here is what I’m doing in the next few hours...
Sarebbe fin troppo facile attendersi un post ambientato in spiaggia, con costumino, conchigliette e spruzzi d’acqua…e invece fuori ci sono meno di 20 gradi e un sacco di pioggia!!! Le ore non passano mai e la noia impera…
Quindi impossibilitata ad offrirvi un vero outfit estivo, ho pensato di puntare sull’ironia di questi shorts di Hello Kitty, il mio ultimo acquisto del week end…e l’aiuto della mia fida compagna Camilla che già conoscete! Ovviamente non potevano mancare le mie adorate perle…eli-a-porter è cmq a-porter anche in pigiama!!!
Mi fanno molto sorridere le foto con gli occhiali…amarcord, visto che sono i primi occhiali che mi hanno messo sul naso a sette anni, li conservo con molto affetto nella mia scatola dei ricordi…

Would you ever guess today is the first day of summer??!!
It would be far too easy to expect a post with beach location, tiny swimsuit, little shells and water games…instead, outside it’s less than 20degrees and there’s a lot of rain coming down the clouds!!! Time doesn’t pass and it’s the kingdom of bore…
Therefore, since I don’t have a chance to show you a summer outfit, I decided to play with my ironic side with the help of these Hello Kitty shorts, my latest acquisition of the past weekend, and of my cutie assistant Camilla who you already know! Obviously I couldn’t miss my wonderful pearls, since eli-a-porter is a-porter also in pyjama!!!
The pics with the glasses truly make me laugh…they are the first glasses I ever had and I keep them in my box of memoirs…
Alla fine il caldo torrido non ha avuto la meglio!!!! Eccomi tornata, semi sopravvissuta alla prima ondata di caldo africano! Come avete passato il week end?? Il mio è stato fantastico…un pochino di shopping, un pochino di relax con il mio tesorino, un pochino di compagnia degli amici, un pochino del mio gelato preferito…in altre parole un fine settimana all’insegna delle cose che mi piacciono di più!!
Venendo all’outfit che vi propongo oggi, sono particolarmente legata alla canotta che indosso…Non sapete, infatti, che l’ho acquistata nel periodo in cui nella mia mente stava nascendo questo posto fantastico che è eli-a-porter: quando ho iniziato ad elaborare l’idea di iniziare un mio blog, il primo nickname al quale avevo pensato era “fashion bunny”! Sarei dovuta essere la “coniglietta della moda”, ma l’idea è poi stata accantonata in favore del più sobrio eli-a-porter…
Per una giornata in ufficio l’ho abbinata a shorts di jeans blu scuro molto semplici e accessori neri: ho aggiunto il mio cerchietto grigio Feltrose di ODDEL che conoscete già (lo trovate anche qui), lo adoro!!!
Le foto che ho pubblicato ultimamente sono opera di mia sorella Giulia: devo ringraziarla di cuore perché riesce sempre a farmi sentire perfettamente a mio agio e con molta pazienza mi asseconda sempre, ottenendo risultati a mio parere molto buoni!! Del resto è lei l’artista di casa… ;)

In the end the super hot weather didn’t totally win over me!!!! Here I am back, almost survived to the first huge hot temperature of the season! What about your past weekend?? Mine has been amazing…a little bit of shopping, a little bit of relax with my honey, a little bit of friends fun time, a little bit of my favourite ice cream…in other words, I spent a week end doing the things I love the most!!
Talking about the today outfit, the tank top I’m wearing means a lot to me…I bought it in the same period when in my mind was slowly growing the idea of building this fantastic space that is eli-a-porter: when I started elaborating the idea of creating my own blog, the first nickname that came to my mind was “fashion bunny”! I had to be the fashion bunny, but in the end I chose to be the far smarter eli-a-porter…
For this Monday at the office, I matched it with quite simple blue denim shorts and black accessorizes: I added my grey Feltrose ODDEL headband you already have seen here, I truly adore it!!!
The pics I’ve posted lately have all been made by my sister Giulia: I must thank her from the bottom of my heart because every time she really makes me feel comfortable in front of the camera and is so patient to always try to do whatever I ask her, I think the results are quite good, don’t you?! Well, I must admit she’s the artist of the family, so… ;)
I thought it could be a good idea to share with you a few ideas on who I consider as my stile icons, which to me means women non only with a great sense of fashion, but also with great attitude towards tjeir job, their family…well, towards life!
Among these, the most important is Victoria Beckham, who’s a great source of inspiration for me, as well as a reference to check out trends and paths in fashion industry.
Since Spice Girls days she has been a true window to fashion world (who of you girls has never dreamt even for a day of being one of them??!!): while the other girls used to wear outfits with crazy patterns and sky high wedges, VickyB used to show off amazing saldals and micro LBD…that was such a joy for the eyes!!
During the years, after overcoming the “girl power” experience, she found the way to re-invent herself as a fashion-eater before and later as a real trendsetter, finally becoming a business woman in fashion industry: she has been playing many roles, from jet set wag all about luxury shopping and botox, to fashion victim only concerned about appearance rather than substance…
Beyond all the criticisms that her glitz lifestyle provokes, I think Victoria is first off all a woman with such a strong sense of family: despite all the troubles her husband caused her, she knew how to move on without losing her reputation, keeping her family tight, this way acquiring a huge image of woman before star.
Also, she’s a woman who can fight and persevere to reach her goals: a few years ago media strongly attacked her when she decided to move to Los Angeles to follow success in the USA…gossip websites and magazines were full of rumors about Hollywood being quite contrary to her arrival, but time was on her side and today also in the USA she has became a real source of inspiration for many women and has finally entered the golden fortress that is Hollywood.
In my opinion, the extra inch that makes her special is her extreme taste in choosing designers and items, but also her ability to create her image: two years ago, how many women went to their hairstylist asking for the Victoria Beckham bob haircut??? Me first!

Bags: every outfit she shows off is always completed by the right bag, which can be used to complete and recall the mood of the outfit, or give the look some extra craziness in order to make a quite basic outfit more precious. Among her favourites, Birkin and Kelly…
Shoes: a few years ago, in her American reality TV show Victoria said that she truly can walk only in high heeled shoes and that her feet don’t know the way to get into a pair of plats or flip flops! Well, shoes are the other complement of her outfits, with ever present sky high heels and outrageous details. Her favourites? Louboutin and YSL…
Shades: during the years, they have become an important part of her image, but also a source of income since she started her own shades’ collection. Shapes are always oversize and lenses are always very dark, in order to avoid every eye contact with the world (in her own words!). In fact, every diva has her shades…
Lines: beyond the single items that make her outfits, the complete look is always created to underline an wrap her hips, to exalt her legs and décolleté, also when clothes cover most of her body…Through the years there has been a real evolution in her style, starting from the “wag style” of post Spice Girls era, to reach a more mature look which often gets inspiration from New York ladies, other times frojet set California girls, without losing great coherence and balance.

Ho pensato che potrebbe essere interessante condividere con voi alcune idee su quelle che io considero le mie style icons, ovvero donne che possiedono un particolare gusto non solo nel vestire, ma anche nei confronti del proprio lavoro, della propria famiglia….della vita insomma!
Tra queste, la più importante in assoluto è senz’altro Victoria Beckham, la quale è per me una grande fonte di ispirazione, nonché rappresenta un punto di riferimento per misurare tendenze e percorsi dell’industria della moda.
Fin dai tempi delle Spice Girls è stata una vera e propria finestra sul fashion world (quale ragazzina non ha mai sognato di essere anche solo per un giorno una di loro??!!), poiché mentre le colleghe si fasciavano in abiti dalle fantasie alquanto opinabili e calzavano zeppe dalle altezze improponibili, VickyB sfoggiava già fantastici sandaletti e mini tubini…una vera delizia per gli occhi!!
Con il tempo, archiviata l’esperienza “girl power”, ha saputo reinventarsi come divoratrice di moda prima, e trendsetter poi, trasformandosi in quest’ultima fase in una donna imprenditrice della fashion industry: sono molti i ruoli che ha svolto e che le sono stati attribuiti, da wag spendacciona e siliconata a fashion victim attenta solo all’apparenza piuttosto che alla sostanza…
Al di là delle critiche che il suo stile di vita a volte induce, io trovo che Victoria sia prima di tutto una donna con un forte senso della famiglia: malgrado i numerosi grattacapi che il marito le ha procurato, ha saputo andare avanti a testa alta mantenendo unita le famiglia, dando così una forte immagine di donna prima che di star.
E’ poi una donna che ha saputo lottare e perseverare per raggiungere i propri obiettivi: qualche anno fa la stampa la criticò molto quando decise di trasferirsi a Los Angeles per tentare il successo negli USA…siti di gossip e giornali riportavano rumors di come Hollywood storcesse il naso al solo pensiero, ma invece il tempo le ha dato ragione, e oggi è senza dubbio divenuta anche negli Stati Uniti una fonte d’ispirazione per molte donne ed è entrata a far parte di quella fortezza dorata che è Hollywood.
Ciò che la rende speciale, a mio parere, è il suo estremo gusto anzitutto nello scegliere stilisti e capi, ma anche in termini di immagine: quante donne sono state dal parrucchiere chiedendo il bob alla Victoria Beckham??? IO per prima!
I capisaldi dello stile Victoria Beckham sono essenzialmente 4:
Borse: ogni outfit che propone è sempre completato dalla borsa giusta, che a seconda del caso completa e richiama l’outfit stesso, oppure dona quel tocco di pazzia in più al fine di impreziosire e ravvivare un look essenziale. Tra le più usate, Birkin e Kelly…
Scarpe: in una puntata del reality americano andato in onda qualche estate fa, Victoria afferma che durante la giornata non riesce mai a camminare senza tacchi e che i suoi piedi proprio non riescono ad entrare in un paio di ballerine o ciabatte! Bene, le scarpe sono l’altro complemento per eccellenza dei suoi look, con tacchi sempre vertiginosi e dettagli oltraggiosi. Tra i preferiti, Louboutin e YSL…
Occhiali da sole: nel tempo sono divenuti parte della sua immagine ma anche fonte di ricavi dal momento in cui ha disegnato una linea omonima di occhiali da sole. Le forme sono sempre oversize e le lenti sempre molto scure per evitare il contatto visivo con il mondo esterno (parole sue!). Del resto ogni diva ha il suo occhiale scuro…
Linee: al di là dei singoli elementi che compongo l’outfit, l’insieme è sempre pensato per sottolineare ed avvolgere i fianchi, per esaltare gambe e decolleté, anche quando l’outfit lascia scoperto ben poco…Negli anni è avvenuta una vera e propria evoluzione nel suo modo di vestire, passando dal look un po’ “velina” del post Spice Girls, ad un look più maturo che talvolta si ispira alle signore newyorchesi, talvolta alle ragazze californiane del jet set, il tutto però caratterizzato da grande coerenza ed equilibrio.
Vi propongo due look che ho creato ispirandomi allo stile Victoria Beckham…

L’altro giorno ho scattato alcune foto stupidine con mia sorella nel parco giochi davanti casa!!! Ci siamo divertite come pazze!
Indossavo semplici skinny neri, T-shirt bianca, ciabattine con fiocco ed uno dei miei ultimi acquisti da H&M: gilet con ruches!!! Me ne sono innamorata a prima vista…trovo che le ruches gli conferiscano un’allure davvero romantica, ma al tempo stesso il colore nero ed il taglio tipo canotta lo rendano anche molto rock!
L’ho indossato anche abbinandolo ad una gonna a righe orizzontali bianche e nere sempre di H&M che conto di mostrarvi presto…

A few days ago I took some silly pics with my sister in the playground in front of our house!!! We truly had a blast!
I was wearing simple black skinny pants, white T-shirt, flats with a bow and one of my latest acquisitions from H&M: a vest with ruches!!! It was love at first sight between us…I think the ruches give it a quite romantic allure, but at the same time the colour and the shape make it so rock!
I’ve matched it also with a striped black and white H&M skirt, I hope I’ll show you this outfit very soon…
