Sorry...Sun is winning over me...

Questo caldo sta avendo la meglio sulla mia salute!!!!! Purtroppo ho poco tempo da dedicare alle foto, e mi dispiace ammettere che questa temperatura semi-africana mi fa passare la voglia di mettermi in posa…perdonate la mia pigrizia!

Spero abbiate apprezzato l’idea del post ispirato alle mie style icons: mi sono molto divertita a tentare di creare due outfit che richiamassero il gusto di Victoria e che potessero essere d’ispirazione anche per chi non può permettersi di possedere 10 Birkin diverse nell’armadio!

In assenza di outfit da proporvi, vi regalo due immagini decisamente estive che ho ritrovato sfogliando un vecchio Glamour, Giugno. 2003 per la precisione…Tutto ciò che mi fanno venire in mente è sole, coca-cola ghiacciata e bagni in piscina!!!!

Sabato si avvicina! E’ ormai ora di fare programmi…

This heat is definitely winning over me!!!!! Unfortunatly I have little time to dedicate to shooting, and I’m really sorry to admit that this semi-African temperature truly kills my will to pose…please, forgive me for being lazy!

I hope you appreciated the idea of a post inspired to my style icons: I had a great time trying to create two Victoria inspired outfits that could be inspirational also for those who can’t afford having 10 different Birkins in the closet!

Since the lack of outfits, I’m giving you two pics I found out reading an old Glamour Italia, June. 2003…All they remind me is sun, iced Coke and baths in the pool!!!!

Tahitian Mood: Galmour Italia 06.10

Oggi è Venerdì finalmente, e spero con tutto il cuore che il tempo non faccia lo stupidino questo fine settimana!! Perdonatemi l’assenza e la mancanza di post di outfit, ma sono stata un po’ malaticcia e abbastanza impegnata…mi rifarò nel weekend con la collaborazione del mio fotografo piccolino!!

Vorrei ringraziarvi con tutto il cuore per il supporto: stamattina sono stata molto sorpresa dal vedere il contatore visite superare il 600!!

Se ricordate, giovedì vi ho introdotto l’iniziativa di “Mach’s grun”: poco fa ho ricevuto la mail di conferma dall’associazione che pianterà un albero nella foresta anche per il mio blog! Piccolo gesto d’aiuto per una buonissima causa…

Vi lascio con alcune foto tratte dall’editoriale che preferisco di Glamour Italia di Giugno: si tratta di un servizio fotografico con proposte di costumi molto semplici ma che con i giusti accessori creano un effetto lussuoso e decisamente sopra le righe, l’ispirazione è molto tahitiana a mio avviso, i colori sono un inno all’estate…

Sperando che queste foto portino fortuna nei prossimi giorni e il sole continui a splendere, passate un fine settimana meraviglioso!!!!

It’s finally Friday and I truly hope the weather won’t be silly during the coming weekend!! I’m so sorry for my absence from the blog and the lack of outfit posts, but I’ve been a little sick and busy these days…I’ll do better in the weekend with the collaboration of my tiny photographer!!

I’d like to thank you with all my heart for your kind support: this morning I was really surprised seeing the visits’ counter overcome 600 visits!!

As you probably remember, on Thursday I introduced you to the “Mach’s grun” program: a few minutes ago I received the confirmation mail from the association, which is planting a tree also for my blog! It’s just a little action for such a good cause…

I’m leaving you with a few pics from my favourite editorial of Glamour Italia of June: it suggests costume outfits made of quite simple items, but with the right accessories the result is luxurious and outragiuos, the inspiration comes from Tahiti, colours recall summer…

Waiting for sun, sand and sea...

Non so voi, ma io con l’arrivo di Maggio sento il bisogno impellente di acquistare il costume per l’estate!! Attendendo l’uscita del catalogo Calzedonia e dei rivenditori Golden Point (solitamente la mia scelta ricade tra questi marchi, vista la buona qualità, l’aspetto moda molto marcato ed il prezzo decisamente accessibile) vi propongo le principali tendenze per la stagione S/S 2010 che ho individuato dando un’occhiata alle sfilate milanesi e ad alcune collezioni on line.

Anzitutto per quanto riguarda le forme, questa stagione è segnata dal trionfo del bikini a triangolo, con triangoli nelle diverse varianti per la parte sopra, e microslip per la parte sotto; personalmente trovo i costumi interi poco comodi e poco funzionali per ottenere un’abbronzatura da sfoggiare in tutte le occasioni, anche se devo ammettere che alcuni sono molto eleganti e sexy: anche in questa stagione avremo proposte di costumi interi con applicazioni varie e soprattutto sopravvivono i cosiddetti trikini…

I colori, le atmosfere e le ispirazioni sono variabili: se da Fisico prevalgono senza dubbio i colori must della stagione, nelle varie combinazioni di rosa, lavanda, viola, acquamarina e giallo, da Miss Bikini invece la fanno da padrone texture e grafismi ispirati ai colori della terra nelle varie sfumature di viola; Pin-up si ispira alla classica tradizione marinaresca, con molti modelli diversificati nelle forme ma che nel complesso riprendono l’abbinamento bianco-blu oltre che la fantasia floreale must di stagione.

Accanto a questi marchi, vi propongo alcune scelte di Parah, Victoria Secrets e H&M: trovo che la collezione di Victoria Secrets sia magnifica, molto varia nel gusto, nelle forme e nei prezzi… Attendendo che il sole inizi a scaldare e l’estate finalmente arrivi, spero apprezziate la mia scelta di costumi!!!!

I don’t know about you, but when May comes, I absolutely need to buy the swimsuit for the coming summer!! While I’m still waiting for the Calzedonia and Golden Point catalogues (I usually buy the swimsuit from these brands, due to their good quality, really fashionable attitude and the quite cheap price), I decided to present you the main tendencies of this S/S 2010, which I found admiring Milan fashion shows and several on-line collections.

First of all, let’s talk about shapes: one of season’s come backs is the triangle bikini, with different possible shapes of triangle bras for the upper part and mini panties; I personally think that one-piece swimsuits are quite uncomfortable and don’t let you get that perfect tan you can show at every chance, even if I must admit some of them are really elegant and sexy: for the upcoming summer, we can choose between several one-piece swimsuits with precious details and various applications, but most important the so called trikinis have survived also for this year…

Talking about colours, atmospheres and inspirations, we find a huge variety: Fisico has based the entire collection on the season’s must have colours, pink, lavender, violet, aquamarine and yellow, while Miss Bikini choose textures and graphisms inspired by earth colours with several violet nuances; Pin-up got inspiration from the classic navy tradition, offering many different shapes which recall not only the blue-white combination, but also another season’s trend: flowers.

In the post you can also find some Parah, Victoria Secrets and H&M outfits: I really love the Victoria Secrets collection, because it’s really varied in style and shapes but also quite cheap...
