What’s in your closet??? 10 things you shouldn’t miss…

InStyle.com propone una lista di 10 cose che ogni donna dovrebbe avere nel proprio armadio: la star stylist Nicole Chavez illustra quali sono, a suo parere, i capi must che una donna dovrebbe avere a disposizione per brillare in ogni occasione! Si va dal blazer nero, capo versatile e assolutamente di tendenza, alla t-shirt a strisce, altro must di stagione, dal classico tubino nero alle ballerine rosse…potete trovare l’armadio completo qui!
Personalmente mi trovo d’accordo su alcune scelte, su altre avrei da ridire, quindi vi propongo il mio armadio ideale, un mix di capi classici che vanno bene sia per il giorno che per la sera e di accessori preziosi per essere sexy al punto giusto!
Fatemi sapere cosa ne pensate, ma soprattutto quali sono i pezzi che non mancano mai nel vostro armadio! ;)

Instyle.com published a list of the ten pieces every woman should have in her closet: star stylist Nicole Chavez suggests the must have pieces a woman should own to be always marvellous and fashionable!!!! In the list we find the black blazer, quite trendy and versatile, striped shirt, one of season’s must haves, the classic LBD, red flats and more…You can find the complete list here!
I agree with most of the choices and disagree with others, that’s why I’m presenting my own “must haves’ closet”, which is made by classic pieces that can apply both to day and night and precious accessories to use in order to be sexy and hot!

PERLE/PEARLS

OK, ormai conoscete la mia passione/ossessione per le perle, quindi c’è poco da aggiungere! Trovo che abbiano la capacità di rendere prezioso anche l’outfit più banale e donare a chi le indossa un tocco di eleganza e raffinatezza soprattutto se abbinate al nero/grigio, colori che a mio parere le esaltano al meglio.

OK, you all know my passion/obsession for pearls, so there’s nothing left to add! I think they can turn a boring outfit into a precious one, and give an aurea of elegance especially if worn with black or grey outfits.

MAXI FOULARD/MAXI SCARF

Io non esco mai senza sciarpa o foulard (mania, lo so!), ed invidio molto le donne che riescono ad indossarli sempre in maniera perfetta…Jennifer Aniston è una di queste!

I never go out without a scarf (that’s a mania, I know!), and I envy quite a lot those women who wear scarves always perfectly…Jennifer Aniston is one of those!

MAGLIONE MORBIDO/SOFT SWEATER

Ho una passione per i maglioni di lana che cadono morbidi sul corpo, meglio se scollati al punto giusto! Questo di Stella McCartney mi piace molto, ricercato ma trendy…

PENCIL SKIRT

Giusta per gli impegni di tutti i giorni, ma anche da abbinare ad un top e giacca per la sera, questo tipo di gonna delinea e slancia la figura.

It’s the right piece for everyday outfit, but also to match with top and blazer at night, I think it outlines very well the shape of the body.

ABITO LUNGO/LONG DRESS
Magnifico, ma sicuramente difficile da portare, abiti adatti soprattutto per serate speciali oppure d’estate con gladiators e pochette dai dettagli preziosi. Elie Saab (questo della foto è di una collezione S/S passata) è uno degli stilisti che a mio parere danno il meglio di sé negli abiti lunghi…

I love them! Even if it’s quite difficult to wear them properly, they’re marvellous for special nights, or can also be worn in summer with gladiator sandals and jewelled pochettes. Elie Saab is one of my favourite designers of long dresses (this dress is from a past S/S season)…

PEEP TOES
Per essere desiderabili non servono di certo tacchi altissimi, ma la peep toe giusta aiuta sempre!! Le trovo più comode dei classici sandali o decolleté e adoro il fatto che lascino intravedere i piedi…Queste Louboutin "Banana"...meraviglia!!

Women don’t need sky high heels to be sexy, but the right peep toe always helps!! I find them more comfortable than classic sandals or decolleté and love the fact that you can see part of the toes…These Louboutin "Banana"...amazing!!

CLASSIC TRENCH
Magnifico di giorno, soprattutto cameo, ma anche di sera abbinato a tacchi altissimi.

Wonderful at day, specially if in sand colour, but also at night with very high heels.

POCHETTE GIOIELLO/JEWELLED POCHETTE
Da sfruttare per impreziosire outfit “notturni”, la scarsa capienza non è di certo un problema, dato che carta di credito, telefono e lucidalabbra ci stanno comodi”! Le nuove pochette Louis Vuitton sono a dire poco deliziose!!!

They should be used to make night outfits more precious, the small size is not a limit, since there’s enough room for credit card, mobile and lipstick! The new Louis Vuitton ones are just marvellous!!!

MAXI BAG
Utilissime di giorno, rappresentano la “casa lontano da casa” per le donne come me che in borsa mettono il mondo!

I find it very useful during the day, since it’s the “home far from home” for those women like me that put “the world” in their bag!

SEXY LINGERIE

Cosa dire! Da sfruttare in occasioni “hot”, ma anche più semplicemente da indossare per sentirsi sexy ed attraenti.
