So mother, so daughter: Hildur & Björk
The last years there are a lot of protest actions in Iceland. For economic and/or ecologic issues.
Nearby the parliament & other public places after the economic collaps in 2008.
But year's earlies, in 2002, Björk's mother, Hildur Rúna Hauksdóttir, went on a short-lived hunger strike to protest the development (Kárahnjúkavirkjun) of the Alcoa aluminum smelter @ Reyðarfjörður @ Iceland's East Fjords.
In 2010, Björk is one of the leading persons in the protest against the HS Orka deal with Canada's Magma Energy.
