Domenica ho passato una splendida giornata nella mia adorata Venezia per visitare la Biennale di Architettura, esposizione temporanea che ha sede nei Giardini.
Accompagnata dal mio architetto preferito e mia sorella Giulia, mi sono divertita come una pazza a farmi fotografare all’interno dei vari padiglioni e tra le numerose installazioni.
Lascio agli esperti il giudizio tecnico su quanto esposto, visto che io di architettura capisco ben poco anche se ho una netta preferenza per i plastici, adorabili!
Ad ogni modo è stata un’occasione per osservare, prendere spunti ed imparare da un mondo tanto diverso quanto simile a quello della moda, entrambi fatti di forme, strutture, equilibri, colori e materiali che devono assemblarsi in maniera perfetta.
Per l’occasione ho pensato ad un outfit comodo ma al tempo stesso particolare, composto quindi di capi basic ma con un tocco speciale: i jeans sono nuovissimi, comprati sabato nella meravigliosa Treviso al megastore Benetton, cotone stretch al punto giusto, forma perfetta e lavaggio strepitoso, è stato amore a prima vista insomma...la maximaglia Sisley è piuttosto maxi, quindi l’ho annodata sul fianco, amo portarla con la spalla scoperta che è uno dei miei must…le ballerine più comode che ho e borsa ultra capiente.
Vista l’enorme quantità di foto scattate, ho pensato di dedicare un post alle immagini più carine e particolari che abbiamo fatto, quindi non perdetevi il post di domani!!!!
E non dimenticate nemmeno di votare per il “Best Dressed of the Week Contest” qui sulla barra laterale di destra, avete tempo fino a domani!

I spent Sunday in my beloved Venice to visit the Biennale of Architecture, a temporary exposition located at the Giardini nearby San Mark’s square.
Along with my favourite Architect Nicola and my sister Giulia, I really had a blast being photographed in the many pavilions and through the various installations.
I’ll let the expert judge the quality of the exposition, since I understand little of architecture, though I can say I really like pillars, they’re so adorable!
Anyway, this was a brilliant occasion to observe, get inspired and learn from a world that is so different yet so similar to fashion, both made of forms, structures, balances, colours and materials that need to be perfectly assembled together.
For this occasion, I created a comfy but peculiar outfit made of basic items with a special something: the denim pants are brand new, I’ve bought them on Saturday in the huge Benetton store in the wonderful Treviso: stretch cotton, perfect fit, amazing colours, it was love at first sight! The Sisley maxi tee is so maxi I prefer to tie it on the side and wear it with nude shoulder, which has become one of my musts…I added the most comfy flats I own (we walked all day…poor feet!) and a very big bag.
Due to the huge amount of pics we took, I decided to dedicate a separate post to the most peculiar and strange ones, so don’t miss tomorrow’s post!!!!
