World IBF and WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko saw off challenger Samuel Peter on Saturday with a 10th round technical knock-out.
The 34-year-old Klitschko had few problems as he secured his 49th knock-out and 55th victory in his 58th fight as he enjoyed the second win of his career against Peter, who turned 30 on Saturday.
Klitschko had been due to box IBF mandatory challenger Alexander Povetkin, but when the Russian pulled out of the fight, Peter stepped in, but he rarely threatened the champion.
With Peter tiring in the later rounds, Klitschko finally broke free of the Nigerian's holding tactics and landed a flurry of punches which rocked the African and ultimately left him on the canvas.
