I have a new found love for European cities since visiting Paris in Easter with one of my best friends. I have visited France before for school trips etc. but it is a different feeling altogether when you get to explore a city with your own itinerary.
If anyone is planning on visiting during the summer, I really recommend spending an afternoon in the Luxembourg gardens…it has an incredibly relaxed Parisian atmosphere and it is also where Marius Pontmercy and Cosette first meet in Les Miserables!
