"Stop Making Desperate Attitude"

IN ALL THE KERFUFFLE the other day about people not being able to get on to SL and losing items from their inventory etc., I happened to overhear a conversation on Help Island - one little phrase just tickled my fancy so much, I had to share it with you.

I was going to delete the helper's name, but I think he did extremely well, considering the circumstances:

[2007/08/09 16:39] Johnny Rambler: Well, if you listen to me, instead of making deperate attitude, I will explain it.

The two object are conglomerate objects. They happen that way when you return multiple unlinked objects at once and appear as 3 cubes in your objects folder or lost and found. If you rez those two conglomerated objects, all your stuff will be there."

(SL'er was soon pacified and off they went to un-conglomerate their items).

But the phrase "... listen to me, instead of making desperate attitude ..." reminded me of a phrase I heard many years ago in a Hong Kong hotel - "No lip roar" - which meant no shouting. LOL

SO, all you SL'ers out there getting frustrated and agitated - "STOP MAKING DESPERATE ATTITUDE!" LOL
